Czech Centres, a contributory organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, are the core instrument of public diplomacy of the Czech Republic’s foreign policy, and strive to support the reputation of the Czech Republic in the world. As a cultural institute, Czech Centres are members of the network of European cultural institutes – EUNIC. Among the successful projects of the Czech Centres is the Czech Innovation Expo exhibition, which presents the 100-year history of the country in the fields of research and science, traditional world-recognized industrial brands, and also the emerging new generation of representatives of the scientific, innovative and entrepreneurial sphere. The Czech Innovation Expo is based on the interconnection of interactive and audiovisual art, design and new trends in innovative areas of Czech society. The seventh international designers’ festival Prague Design Week took place in Republic Square 7 in centre of Prague. Seven-day event featured the creation of 77 designers, jewellers, fashion designers, creative people, studios, schools and firms.
