LEM design
LEM is a fashion label specializing in womenswear with a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Interested in the crossover between art, fashion and design, LEM frequently explores a conceptual form. Its creator, the Czech designer Lucie Erban Mares, is now presenting a new collection for 2016 called Monochromatic. It was inspired by the colour derived from a mirror reflection. The scale of colours taken from a photograph of the mirror surface creates a monochromatic composition comprising of shades of white, grey, and black. The photograph of the mirror surface is printed on fabric which becomes the bearer of information about the actual colour of reflection.

The seventh international designers’ festival Prague Design Week took place in Republic Square 7 in centre of Prague. Seven-day event featured the creation of 77 designers, jewellers, fashion designers, creative people, studios, schools and firms.
