Magdalena POPLAWSKA
Magdalena J. Poplawski is a Polish sculptor and designer, living in Prague. In last years, her work based on figurative sculpting meets applied art halfway. The best example of such synergy are vases from the series Fulfill me and lamps from the series Light me Up. Since 2005, her sculpture installation brightens up areal of National library in Klementinum. In 2010 she received the first prize in sculpture category at Czech Art Festival. Atelier Poplawska offers not only unique sculptures and design elements, but also public sculpture courses.

The seventh international designers’ festival Prague Design Week took place in Republic Square 7 in centre of Prague. Seven-day event featured the creation of 77 designers, jewellers, fashion designers, creative people, studios, schools and firms.
