Kateřina Blašková

Jewelry is often viewed as decoration. But isn’t it more than just decoration? Offering that personal touch which identifies a person’s very own individuality. Furthermore – what is the right piece of jewelry? It should be unique to each and very one of us, so that it can provides reflexion of self. I am a young designer currently living partly in Prague and south Moravia. My passion for glass work was born in Ljubljana during the Erasmus exchange program. Ever since then I have continued to explore glasswork as my main medium. Playing with new ideas and testing my skills is what I truly enjoy.

The seventh international designers’ festival Prague Design Week took place in Republic Square 7 in centre of Prague. Seven-day event featured the creation of 77 designers, jewellers, fashion designers, creative people, studios, schools and firms.
